Alms.

In Luanprabang Laos, the monks came for their alms every morning.

The most of them are on their late teens.
They bring bowls, and people donate sticky rice and money and so on.

Young monks go to high school during daytime.
As monks, they can go to senior high school.
I had a chance to talk with young monks.
They speaks good English, surprisingly better than Japanese high school students.

The last day in Laos, I joined the donating people.
I bought sticky rice, and sit on a mat.
There are four hundred monks,
so I put sticky rice in each bowl little by little.
And that's enough,
because there are many people offering sticky rice.

Elephant riding

In Laos, I enjoyed elephant riding. It was very comfortable. I could have good view because the elephants were tall. They looked very clever and gentle.

Weaving experience in Laos

In February, I went to Laos with my friend.
There are many hand woven textiles in Laos.
I was fascinated in those textiles.
One day I experienced weaving.

It's my piece.

The Cheshire cat

Today, I met the Cheshire cat of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland at the park.
